Kathryn,

I love tiny noticings too. Sometimes I almost feel inebriated with joy. This morning I glimpsed at prairie sunset as reward for taking a dog out to pee. Total serendipity!

And I love your newsletter!

Thank you Lana! I am amazed how many gifts there are of noticing in nature thanks to the dog's need to get outside. In the winter especially, I often grumble as I bundle up and then am hit with wonder and joy once outside to see the moon, the early morning light, some wonder of dew or frost that I never would have seen had it not been for the dog!

I love your idea of inebriated with joy too - thank you!

Small Delights is the theme for a cosy group I have on FB. Since starting my daily maps in Jan, I later moved to review the month and now looking at reviewing the quarter. This brings lots of delight as we don't harbour on what we didn't do but rather what we did.

Thank you Santina, this practice of review and mapping sounds so rich. I loved what I saw of your maps of the day in January. We have many transitions in our family this spring and summer and I have been wondering about ways to stay with my work and hold more loosely to expectations. I love your idea of reviewing and noticing what got done - it is a much needed perspective and reminder for me right now, thank you.

Such a beautiful Spring, a joy everyday to see what is new and growing in my garden, yards and the woods-treasures everywhere. As the sun warms the earth, nature responds with green and colors and new life all around- such a blessing! Enjoyed the little octopuses basking in the tulips! Thank you for your thoughts and reflections, so profound and comforting, too.
