Hi Kathryn! I love this post. I am actually sitting here just now with my copy of Julia Cameron’s just-released book, Living The Artist Way. I read (and re-read) her first book years ago and have been fairly committed to writing Morning Pages, but I have allowed her other tools to go by the wayside. So I am looking forward to reading and working through this new book.

May our new year be creative and healthy!

Kathryn, I truly appreciate this perspective on the concept of resolution, especially the etymology of the word. I’ve never been one to make resolutions, but instead to look for ways I can evolve and become more myself, the fully human/divine being that I am. And certainly reconnecting with familiar practices perhaps in new ways can be a lovely part of that. I’ve been feeling a deep invitation to reconnect with music in just that way. It will need to look different, and I wonder what it might look like.

Thank you for this lovely reflection 💖

Love the cattails and the idea of reconnecting with familiar practices. Nature always feeds my soul and I plan to make time to walk and observe and enjoy the wonders of nature every day. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring newsletter!

Thank you, and love the daily connection with nature and how different parks and settings can feel like old friends we reconnect with too.

Hi Kathryn, have not responded to your posting until now as am trying to connect with those I have not been in touch with this year of Health issues for myself and am doing pretty well but one leads to another and I am grateful for your words suggesting we take time to Reconnect.
