October 8th is World Octopus Day!
My writing journey has progressed alongside a new hobby of crochet, and the majority of my crochet projects have been octopuses.
You can see earlier color wheels below and refer back to this post for the story of the largest octopus I’ve crocheted. Octopus Adventures
If my creativity were an animal, she would be an octopus.
Octopuses can change color and they are very flexible.
Octopuses have 8 arms, 3 hearts, and 9 brains - they think with a central brain but each arm contains enough neural material to be seen as another brain.
Octopuses are collectors and arrangers, they can even hide behind a collection of objects.
Octopuses like to hide and can be shy.
Octopuses are curious and enjoy solving puzzles.
Octopuses are ingenious at getting out of tight situations.
If you imagine your creativity as an animal, what would it be? What would be your creativite animal’s most important characteristics?
Wishing you joy and creativity today and thankful for your presence in this newsletter community,
Kathryn
