Friday is Last Day for Holiday Orders
Shifting to gratitude, presence, and rest for the last few weeks of the year.
Thank you
for all the ways this newsletter community supports my work. This happens through sharing your stories and experiences in relation to my writing, through purchases on my etsy site and through resources and insights you share. I am grateful.
On that note, if you would like to purchase anything from my Etsy shop, tomorrow is the last day for shipping before the holidays.
Below are restocked labyrinth balls in new glaze colors.
As schools finish up the last classes before winter break and college students begin to travel home, I look forward to shifting to a slower and cozy pace in these last weeks of the year, to gatherings with family and time to enjoy the wonder of the season.
This week in addition to fulfilling orders, I took some time to play a bit with imagery and watercolor, creating the Octopus Labyrinth below. This began with a comment from a friend and then became a series of doodles in my sketchbook, finally finding form this week in this watercolor sketch. It was fun to explore and play a bit with color and design. I look forward to a slower pace and some playful creativity like this in the last weeks of the year.
My newsletter will be back in January with some new projects in collaboration with my resident consortium of octopuses. (Did you know the plural noun for a group of octopuses is “consortium”?)
Until then wishing everyone a peaceful and joyful season of connection and creativity.
With a grateful heart,
Kathryn
