Spring Cleaning Sale and Youth Art Month Offering
Welcoming Spring
I spent the first day of spring doing some spring cleaning in my home studio. A year ago, I was concerned that a month of closures in March would disrupt my routine and pace to be ready to hang my art show on April 1. Now, I find myself grateful for lots of time to create and the slower pace of this year but also really missing the opportunities to share my work in person.
What I love most about hanging artwork is the chance to create space and viewing experience through hanging and arranging all the pieces. And yet, I am also reminded that each time I do a show work goes to new homes, allowing new art owners to curate their home spaces and collections. I am thankful for that process and for ways online sales opportunities have allowed me to continue to share my work in the past year. Thank you.
In that spirit, I am offering a sale on my ETSY site. Most of the markdowns are on pieces that have been in previous exhibits or were planned for exhibit last April. I would love to see them go to new homes.
Below is a link to my ETSY shop with spring cleaning sale prices in effect through the end of March.
March is Youth Art Month
Whether you are still learning virtually at home full-time or are navigating the newness of a return to part-time school, there are lots of opportunities for creative practice at home with children and grandchildren.
My books, COLLETTE, A Collage Adventure and Oops Paint are designed to inspire creativity at home using recycled materials and supplies you have around the house.
Books are discounted this month in honor of Youth Art Month and can be found on my ETSY site.
Additionally, if you know a school or organization that might want to do a bulk order of books to support student and family art practice at home, please encourage them to contact me for a wholesale discount.
