Sanctuary Studio offerings listed below are part of a new Center for Spiritual Deepening beginning at St Aidan's Episcopal Church this month.
Sanctuary Studio - A space to gather around creative practice.
Gather in the sanctuary for quiet, creative time in the company of other makers. Using drawing, watercolor, and collage materials, explore line, shape, and color as a meditative process. Feel free to bring along a project if you are working on something you would like to continue in the quiet company of others.

Book Discussion Children's Imagination: Creativity Under Our Noses

A discussion group for parents, grandparents, teachers, caregivers, and child advocates.
Gather in the sanctuary for book discussion and work with materials. In this group, the work with materials is designed to offer practices to inspire work at home and in community settings with children.

Sanctuary Studio
Art and Quiet Day
In the sanctuary and natural surroundings of St Aidan’s, we will explore contemplative practices with nature and art materials, building our day around a theme of relationships, rituals, and restrictions, inspired by Taiye Salasi’s TED talk, “Where are You Local?” We will reflect on how the day’s exploration of practice can inform opportunities for practice in our everyday lives.
